Is there anyway to backup datamart definition in case someone deletes it by accident or something happens?
In case of reports we store pbix files for managing versions of datasets and reports but in this case, how do you manage that?

Hi. Datamarts are so new that it might have many features that are not there yet. This is one of them. There is nothing related to backups yet. Stay tuned with the power bi announcements, maybe in the future months something might be shown there.
If you want to manage version you can just open a PBI Desktop and connect to the Azure SQL Database instead of using the auto generated direct query dataset.

Hi,
I have just started using datamart . The datamart looks good, but concern with backups. Can we recover if datamart crashes?
Thanks,

Any update on this? I was unable to open my Datamart...so I had to recreate it. Took a lot of time. It's a single point of failure. I've got to be able to backup the Datamart. Any way to do this?
