Datamarts No Access To On Premise Gateway?

Hi _TJ  are you an admin on the gateway?

 

There is a workaround: select the Query and click transform data. Then click Options in the top left and select project options. Select the gateway and click ok. Then configure your credentials.

Unfortunatly, Im not an admin on the gateway, and the workaround isn't working.

    Hi, _TJ 

    It seems that you don't have access to the on-premises data gateway, you need to ask the owner of the gateway to assign permissions to your account.

      Why? I allready have access to the datasource via the gateway. I can acces data via a regular pbi dataset or a dataflow. Why does Datamarts needs access to the complete gateway? There are many datasources configured, for which I do not need (or get) access.

        Since the feature is still in preview, I don't know much about it either. The above is just my personal inference.

        If adding permissions does not work, it is recommended to open a support ticket to get further help.
