HI Team,
We started using datamart recently and faced few issues, not sure if these are enabled or we are missing something in some configuration.
-We are unable to create DAX tables in Datamart.
-Unable to create field paramaters, dynamic slicers feature as well in Datamart.
-Measure table also unable to create.
Are these features are excluded froom datamart or some specific configuration is required for enabling these.
Thanks
The Power BI Datamart is designed to simplify the data modeling process by providing a pre-built data model that can be used across multiple reports. However, there are some limitations to what can be done in the Datamart, and not all features available in Power BI are supported.
Regarding your specific issues, it is important to note that DAX tables, dynamic slicers, and measure tables are not currently supported in the Datamart.
DAX tables and measure tables are used to create custom calculations and measures that are not available in the source data, and they require the ability to write DAX expressions, which is not currently supported in the Datamart.
Dynamic slicers, on the other hand, are interactive visual elements that allow users to filter data in a report based on selected values. While dynamic slicers can be created in Power BI reports, they are not currently supported in the Datamart.
If you need to create custom calculations or use dynamic slicers in your reports, you can still do so by creating a traditional Power BI report and connecting to your data source directly. However, you will not be able to use the Datamart to create a pre-built data model for reuse across multiple reports.
It is also worth noting that the Datamart is still in public preview, and new features and capabilities may be added in future updates. You can check the Power BI documentation for the latest information on what is supported in the Datamart.
