Datamart report refresh

Hi,

I being using datamart. However, would like to further understand how the refresh work.

1) Does refersh datamart, refreshes the dataset that is created from the datamart?

2) What is the lead time for the refresh to occur in the dataset that is created in the datamart?

3) Are report created using datamart auto-refreshed when the datamart has been refreshed?

4) What is the lead time for the whole process?

Is there any progress on this issue? Another one of our relied upon PowerBi reports is stuffed thanks to this poor implementation of entry level functionality.

Answering your questions:

1. Yes , auto generated dataset automatically refreshed when dataset is refreshed , when changes are detected.

2. documentation says it take approx 10 mins for the auto generated dataset to be refreshed, in the meantime the data is accessible via direct query ( no changes is needed from Power BI reports during this time)

3. Report created using datamart uses a live connection to the Dataset of the datamart, no question of refresh if the report.

I'm having an issue where my auto-generated Dataset won't refresh. It's stuck at the date the Datamart was created. Any suggestions?

Yean, even for mine, the dataset date just remains the same but the changes made in datamart does flow through. What I normally do is refresh datamart and wait a few minutes before checking the changes in the report.
