Dataflows fail with only Request/Activity IDs and no underlying error
All dataflows started failing on the same day/time. The only error shown in refresh history is:
Request ID: a8d4223c-c659-e2df-43a2-f4ac0f670b9e
Activity ID: 6e0424d2-53ca-447f-b6da-4dbb632968ef
No detailed mashup / credential / SQL error is displayed.
Has anyone seen dataflows fail with only Request/Activity IDs and no underlying error?
Hello cjhay,
If a dataflow shows only Request ID and Activity ID, it’s a service-level issue, not a query or credential problem. Retry the refresh, check Power BI Service Health, verify storage/gateway, and contact Microsoft support with the IDs if it persists.
