Dataflows and changing ownership

I will be creating a dataflow very soon but the important thing is that I will want to transfer ownership once its up and running.

There is apparently a way of doing this but I cant find any information on it.

Could anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks in advance

    Hi Debbie,

I quickly ran a test on this, in a 'new workspace experience', aka v2 workspace.

I'm assuming the experience will be largely the same for old workspaces, but I have no sandbox here to test quickly.

In the workspace overview, you can head over to the settings of the dataflow and take ownership of it when you have Admin, Contributor or Member priviliges on the workspace level.

    Viewers can not change anything.

This is confusing. It says that this one is completed so its closed but everything is still saying they cant see how to do it? The developer just stated that it was resolved with no information as to how

        Hi,

I think you can create a support ticket here:

I have had a look at these but I dont think they actually answer the dataflow question. I dont think this answers the specific issue of taking over a dataflow because there can only be one owner of a dataflow.

Ive read them before and used them to set up app workspaces. if I am wrong could you please point me in the direction of of exactly what i need to do to allow someone to take over the ownership role of a dataflow
