I'm trying to create some master data Dataflows within our Power BI Premium service for other users in the organization to utilize. With Power BI Datasets, I could add information into the Description field which is really helpful for end user to understand what the field contains or how it is calculated. While editing the Dataflow in the service, I do not see any options to add Descriptions to fields and I'm unable to locate any documentation on how to update field properties.
In the screenshot example, I have a date table Dataflow and I show that a Description can be added for each field. However, I believe this will only impact the single .pbix file that is looking at the Dataflow, and not be saved to the Dataflow for reusability.
Any help/advice would be appreciated!
You can add a description but only to the dataflow as a whole
