Dataflows Failing to Refresh
I have a dozen or so dataflows, and three of them are failing to refresh. Each is returning a message that looks something like this:
"Error: The credentials provided for the PowerBI source are invalid. (Source at PowerBIInternal.). RootActivityId = 5f013467-2b75-42fd-9fb5-1893e41b83b8.Param1 = The credentials provided for the PowerBI source are invalid. (Source at PowerBIInternal.) Request ID: f19bfb6b-563e-8ee1-77ff-45343dab023d."
I've verified all credentials are entered properly. Dataflows with seemingly similar structures are refreshing fine, where others are not. I've tried changing my Power BI password and logging in an incognito tab and nothing seems to work.
Just got our dataflow to refresh successfully. Sounds like there might have been an update that caused the issue and has since been reverted. Hope everyone else is having successful refreshes now.
Didn't do anything, but mine are working now as well. I guess MSFT messed something up on the backend and then fixed it!

we've been experiencing the same issue...started at 4am yesterday, and has persisted. Have tried resetting credentials, all things match.
We have linked entities in the flows, and the root issue apppears to be one related to salesforce. All dataflows are Gen1 also. The failure is causing all the linkages failover. Its a significant issue at this point.
Is there any current tickets with MS support indicating a solution to the issue that we can look at? - ReignMaker22Frequent Visitor

Today morning (7:00 AM PST) experienced the same symptoms and same error issue for somes dataflows that are connected using Linked Tables (PowerPlatform data source through Cloud Connection)
A workaround that worked for us was making a On-premise Gateway instaed of Cloud and some of them started refeshing.
Now few minutes ago, the dataflows with cloud connections started refreshing as usual

Is there a ticket we can follow? This is a serious issue, even for PBI dataflows, which are riddled with issues...

Having the same issue - is there an update / ticket?

We have complete production shutdown at this point on critical apps...its pretty significant, with no way to resolve. Is there a ticket/issue we can review? I need to communicate this issue to end users, but need some level of detail to provide.

Following also, experiencing the same issue across multiple linked dataflows. Oddly some dataflows within the workspace have refreshed successfully. Others have not.

Issue has been mitigated by the Microsoft product team, please check the behavior. In case if the dataflow gen 1 still failing the refresh with invalid credential although provided valid once, please try to clear the browser cookies and cache and check the behavior again. I hope this may help

Hi tarmogolf , do the data source settings in the Power BI Service match your authentication type? If the issue persists, try clearing and re-entering the credentials or updating the gateway configuration if applicable.

I got this same issue with my dataflow. The dataflow (Gen1) that contain linked table to another dataflow kept failing and return the same error. Trying to recreate the same dataflow Gen1 and got the same error. Trying to crete the same but using Gen2 then refresh successfully.
Look forward to the resolution to this. To recreate all dataflow using Gen2 is too much rework to do.
