Hello,
I user Power BI to run a report. I have a dataflow created to get GA4 data which is one part of the report source. I have been running this report without any issues for the past 12 months. Every month I come in refresh the dataflow to get the GA4 data for the past month. It worked perfectly fine and gives me the new GA data. Just this month Feb, I am trying to send the report for Jan 2025 and as always logged into Powerbi.com, went to Workspaces, refreshed the Dataflow but it gives me an error with something like this.
Request ID: 0de0308-db1f-af27-9eba-45853fdc0ec2
Activity ID: 1e20cd27-6600-4c87-9432-29374e1b241e
I have no idea how to fix this. I also logged out and logged in and tried it multiple times, but same issue.
Any help is appreciated.
Thank you

I have the same issue. The refresh status just says Error: with the Request ID and Activity ID.
I don't know how to get to the request like you can with a semantic model error.
There is no link to click to show the refresh details.
I had the exact same issue, I managed to work out it was a step in my powerBI process where I converted a number with decimal places to a single digit whole number. This had worked perfectly for a year. until someone entered text instead of a decimal number at source, a sharepoint list.
PowerBI then could not conver this text to a whole number causing the error. it takes time but check every step of your queries transformation looking for anything entered by a user to the data source that would trip up a number to text or number to whole number conversion. I duplicated my query and deleted the steps one at a time untill it refreshed before i worked out which step as described above was causing the problem.

Hello,
No this issue is still happening. I tried to look at the suggestions but none of that resolved the issue. My query seems to be fine. So not sure what is going on.
Thanks

There is no error message. It just fails and I see the red warning triangle icon which when I click I see the request id and activity id.
