Dataflow metadata
Hi Jamestoz1010 ,
Thanks for reaching out to the Microsoft fabric community forum.By using a PowerShell script (or alternatively, the Power BI Helper tool), users can automatically loop through all workspaces, retrieve each dataflow, and extract both the output tables (which are the entities in the dataflow) and their corresponding data sources. This eliminates the need for manual inspection and significantly speeds up the process—especially in environments with many dataflows or large datasets.
Whether you're an admin managing enterprise-level Power BI deployments or just someone trying to get a quick overview of your data architecture, this approach ensures you're getting exactly the information you need in a structured, repeatable way.
