We have Power BI Premium Service and would like to know if it is possible to use an Azure PostreSQL database as a dataflow data source. It does not appear as an option when selecting a source, only Azure SQL database. Does anyone have experience with this? Does anyone know if this connector is planned for the near future?

Hi, there is not an official connector like Azure SQL Database. That might be because Postgres in azure is kind of new. So what you can do is create a VM in azure and install an on premise data gateway. That VM must include an ODBC Postgres connector or .Net Provider for Postgres. (both of them available on the internet for free)
Then go back to dataflows and pick the Postgres Databse connector or ODBC connector through that gateway. I think is would be the only way.
Hope this helps,
