Was working without any issues for +1 year. Dataset that consumes the dataflow is working without any issue on Power BI Desktop, published on service started to throw errors last night:
To troubleshoot updated gateway to the newest version and wanted to create a new connection for the dataflow to refresh the token. Not possible to do so, other connection types work though:
Just to keep you posted, had my call with Microsoft. They informed that another user is having the same issue as we are.
Did a little testing and they collected logs. Waiting to hear back from them now.
I started receiving the exact same error this morning. Ended up opening a ticket with Microsoft and will update here if they find a solution.
As a stop gap solution, I found out that if you map the dataflow connection on your dataset to the "blank" option the dataset will refresh with no issues:
I set the mapping to blank, applied and was still showing an error.
Then I went to data source credential and hit "Edit credentials" to refresh the account and then your workaround was also working for me!
Thanks for sharing the tip and hopefully an official solution by Microsoft soon.
