Dataflow change column name

Good Morning!

In the past few weeks, seems I have lost hte ability to change column names (data fields) within the dataflow.  Historically I could edit within the column name itself or go thru the "rename" menu option.   But - now, the changed name doesn't seem to stick, and the only way to rename a column is to duplicate and name.  Which seems creates unneeded processing.

Is there something new that I am not aware of?

thank you!

Hi @Dellis81 ,

There is nothing that I am aware of and I do not see any known issue for this type of thing.  This does seem odd and unusual so I would suggest that you open a ticket with Microsoft as there may be something in Dataflows that you are experiencing before the rest of us, or maybe just something unique in your tenant.  Please let us know the result so we can all learn something new!

Thanks for your response.   Late yesterday, I tried again, and it worked.   Then I tried in a second table, resulting in the odd behavior.   I have changed column headers numerous times in the past - and don't recall anytime it didn't work.  Just been in hte more recent few weeks.

I have another open ticket with MS support later today, may try to bring it up with him.  I've got major work deadlines into next week, but will revisit when I have a little free time.  Thank you!
