Dataflow and Semantic Model disappeared

Dataflow and Semantic Model disappeared from workspace saber_pro_db without user action. Getting 404 error on Dataflow and region conflict error (East US 2) on Semantic Model. What's wrong?

The error shows the request is being redirected to a different cluster (south-central-us-redirect) while the Semantic Model is associated with East US 2, which can cause a 404 error and make Dataflows or Semantic Models temporarily appear missing in the workspace. In most cases the artifacts are not deleted but temporarily inaccessible. Refresh the workspace, clear browser cache, and check Power BI Service health; if the issue persists, use the Request ID and Activity ID to open a Microsoft support ticket since it is likely a cluster/region service issue rather than a user action.

And what do I have to check in the Power BI Service health? What do I need to take into account?

  • Hi PROYACAD,

Thank you rohit1991, for your insights.

Check Power BI Service or Microsoft Fabric Service Health for any regional incidents (especially South Central US or East US 2). Ensure the workspace capacity and all related items are in the same region to avoid redirection issues. This is typically a temporary backend routing problem, so wait and retry. If it persists, raise a Microsoft Support ticket with the Request ID, Activity ID, and Cluster details.

    Thank you.

  • Hi PROYACAD,

May I know if you have raised the support ticket and whether the issue has been resolved? If it has, please share your insights so they can be helpful for other community members.

    Thank you.
