Dataflow - PipelineException: Container unexpectedly exited

Receiving the following error on several dataflows:

I have a dozen dataflows running each morning, and they've been running successfully for over a year. This morning, half of them blew up with similar "Container unexpectedly exited" errors. It appears it's any dataflow that gathers data using credentials rather than going through a gateway. Unfortunately, some of our data simply can't go through the gateway - it requires direct credentials.

 

Only when I attempt to run them from the query editor do they complete successfully. Otherwise, when running the refresh from the Datasets and Dataflows list page, or on a schedule, they fail.

 

Clearly something was altered overnight. 

 

Old threads pointed to the possibility of "clearing the cache," but this is no longer possible. Also, it isn't a resource issue. We have plenty of memory and processor power dedicated to our Power BI Premium service.

    Still not explained or resolved, despite thousands of views. Disappointing to see it marked as Solved. Suggest that the Microsoft Community admin create other status values - e.g., 'Exploring', 'Investigating', and definitely a 'Closed/Unsolved' or equivalent.

        The Microsoft Community uses 'Solution' and 'Solved' when it often means 'Answer' or 'Answered'. It's not great.

      Found that 4 of my dataflows have failed with this error code this morning, though they have all previously refreshed successfully since creation months ago

    I am having the same issue as of today.

    Several dataflows. Even one creating just a dimDate form PQ script without external sources. Another one getting on prem data via dateway.
