Good Afternoon,
I have a dataflow set up in which i merge some queries, when doing this on the desktop i "untick" enable load so that it is only loaded through the merged query to save a full load of the second table.
When i do this on the dataflow i get an error of "on-Prem execution not supported for entity....... since it refers to another entity..."
Does this mean we have to load the full table in order or merge?
Thank you!
Hi @sovereignauto ,
Try to untick the "unable load" on the entity that is used to merge. Because if the merged table has another query applied to it, it will cause it to ignore that setting and refresh it again. For a related example, see the similar solution.
Microsoft Idea · Exclude a table from refresh in Power BI Service
If the problem is still not resolved, please provide detailed error information and let me know immediately. Looking forward to your feedback.
Best Regards,
Stephen Tao

Good Morning @Anonymous
Unticking "Enable load" is what causes the error. The below is the error i get on the DF export:
