Dataflow Gen2 staging vs destination: why is data only accessible by creator or Lakehouse?

I would really appreciate it if someone could provide links to the official documentation, as I need a reliable source to reference and validate the suggested characteristics of Gen2.
At the moment, I am struggling to find clear documentation that outlines these details. It feels like this information should be formally documented somewhere, so having direct references would be extremely helpful.

Thank you, this does explain how to move all the dataflows from Gen1 to Gen2. In my organization we already did that successfully. That said, I don't feel this explains the behaviour around staging access and destinations. I also couldn't find this covered in the other docs; I think there's a genuine gap in Microsoft's documentation on this topic.
