Dataflow Gen 2 - Incremental refresh?

Hi all,

is there a way of doing an incremental refresh like it is possible with the Gen1 Dataflows?

I did not find that option in Gen2 - it is only possible to "Append" all rows from a dataflow (resulting in duplicates) or "Replace" all - not too good if you want to implent SCD or have increazed data size.

Any hints for that?

There is nothing mentioned about the implementation of IR of gen2 as you can see in the above suggested document.

However, this article guides a way to achieve IR goals through ETL.

where are you creating your DF? If it is in PBI or Power Apps then you should find an option for incremental refresh.

This documentation might be helpful. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-query/dataflows/incremental-refresh

If my assistance helped you in any way, hit 👍.

It is done in PBI Service - but should not matter as Dataflows are stored/uasable on the PowerPlatform anyways, right?

But I am talking about a Gen2 DF, not the old one - I do not see is at it has been before in Gen1.

Yeah thx, I checked that documentation already - I am just puzzled if it is not implemented yet or if it is a "missing" feature?
