Hi EmilZPM,
I thank you for bringing your issue to the attention of the community. I understand that you have trouble in refreshing your Dataflow Gen 1 in Power BI after loading data from Azure Blob storage. Please try these few items to fix the issue:
- The preview looks fine, so the issue may lie in the transformation logic during the refresh. Ensure the M query is optimized and free of unnecessary steps. Test the transformation in Power BI Desktop to verify its functionality.
- Double-check the credentials used in the Dataflow to ensure they have the correct permissions to access the Azure Blob Storage. Re-enter the credentials in the Dataflow settings to rule out authentication issues.
- In the Power BI Service, navigate to the Dataflow settings and enable diagnostic logging. This might provide more detailed error messages to help pinpoint the issue.
- Try refreshing the Dataflow with a smaller subset of the data. This can help determine if the issue is related to data size or complexity.
- Consider upgrading to Dataflow Gen 2 for better performance, improved error handling, and higher limits to prevent future issues.
- If you are utilizing a Premium workspace, please verify that the Enhanced Compute Engine is enabled. Occasionally, turning this setting off and on again can help address refresh issues. Additionally, if you are using an on-premises data gateway, ensure it is online and properly configured.
If this helps, then please Accept it as a solution and dropping a "Kudos" so other members can find it more easily.
Thank you.
