I need a solution to a problem where I need to give the database name, username and password of the sql from powerbi Service.
A test case will be like
I have a dummy data in db1,username as dup1, password as duppass (all users have these creds)
and original data in db1, username as ori1, password as oripass.(only some admin users have these)
Is there a way I can select the database and by giving username and password from the front end powerbi service to which ever data i want to see?
Can anyone help me with this please.
Thanks,
Harsh
Solved! Go to Solution.
You can't do that in the Power BI service, but you can do it in Deployment Pipelines and via API calls.
Hi Ibendlin,
Thank you. Can you keep any references on how to make it possible?
Thanks,
Harsh
