DataFlow - taking over ownership permissions

If person A creates a DataFlow then person B can edit the DataFlow only if they take ownership. That makes sense.

The following warning message appears.

But there is an issue if Person B only has USER access to the Data Gateway Data Source. There doesn't appear to be any way for Person B to refresh the source even though they have USER permissions to the underlying data via the configuration of the data gateway.

How can an indivudal take ownership of a dataflow without being given Admin permission to the data gateway's data source.

Hi  @saj ,

As far as I know, when you try to take over a dataflow, you need to enter your own credentials for the dataflow to establish a connection with the corresponding datasource, which is a by design operation, please refer to this document.
