I use a personal gateway and connect to an oracle database using the basic option for username and password. It never seems to save the credenntials. How can I save the credentials so I can configure a weekly refresh without having to keep entering my credentials?
@MPS006385581,
I test the same scenario as yours, everything works well and I can successfully set schedule refresh for the dataset using personal mode gateway.
In your scenario, please use the latest version of gateway(14.16.6650.1), and ensure that you are able to access the Oracle database from the machine that you install personal mode gateway.
Regards,
Lydia
Thanks for this - the username and pass word still come up as blank in data source credentials - do they appear for you?
@MPS006385581,
Everything works as expected in my scenario, what is the version of your personal gateway? And which is your Oracle version, do you use import mode or directquery mode to connect to Oracle?
Regards,
Lydia
