Data sets in app.powerbi.com
Hi,
I'm trying to change my data sources to company sharepoint. When I add them to my report in Power BI desktop, I can't refresh them after publishing. The app makes a dataset of all the files I have in the report and there seem to be no way to change the sources. When I add the data sources directly to my workspace, they work perfectly.
Now the problem is that I can't find a way to change the data sources in app.powerbi.com. Is there a way to change them? Report server gives simple enough interface for this, so I'm inclined to believe it's possible. Or do I have to link them some other way in Power BI Desktop? I tried connecting to the sharepoint site, but it's just an endless powerquery of all the files on the site.

Hi,
Thanks for the reply. I went ahead and tried parameters out, but I get the same result as in Power BI desktop. There is still no way to use the datasets from my workspace, I can only write an address to a file. I can't seem to connect to sharepoint with only an address to a file. The datasource does not update unless I open up Power BI desktop, edit the data source credentials and reupload the pbix.
What I'm trying to make use of is that the datasets that I have added to my workspace in app.powerbi.com update. When I add a dataset directly to the app from sharepoint, the workspace has no trouble connecting to the sharepoint site.
Do you have any ideas about this?
