Data refresh problem with calculated table from direct query

Hello dear memebers,

I was wondering if you could help me out with the problem i am facing with a calculated table.

I have a report with 2 different sources. First source is from a dataset via direct query and th other datasource is from excel files.

I have a Dim table with all the job positions from direct query and i needed to include in this table all the job positions that was not included in the dim table from the excel files. So i made a new calculated table combining the data from the dim table and the excel file. Everything was perfect until next day when i gor an error during the refresh and i discovered that service can't refresh a calculated table in direct query,
So i really don;t know how can i include in my dim table the remaining job positions.

Any idea?

Thank you vey much!!!

Hi  @Dimitris_Kats ,

In the power query, whether the "Include in report refresh" in the table is enabled

For the calculation table in Direct Query, it is equivalent to an import, you need to set the scheduled refresh in the dataset to keep it refreshed.
