Data refresh problem - login error with on-prem SharePoint site

I have a simple BI report pulling data from a SharePoint 2016 site that is visible on the internet. It runs fine in the Desktop version, however, after published to BI website, I am getting refresh error. Not sure why I only have anonymous login option? 

 

 

In the Desktop app, I specified it to use Windows login. I tried both options, fails.

    Hi NewBee117 

     

    Yeah it does say that but if it is an on-prem sharepoint it would need the gateway to allow you to authenticate with the windows credentials.

    Hi NewBee117 

     

    I would use the On-Premise Gateway to connect to your On-Prem SharePoint. 

     

    You can only connect without the gateway to cloud data sources.
