Data handling

Hi Nidhiexl09 ,
Hi,
Since you're using a Pro license, you're limited to a 1 GB dataset size for import mode in Power BI Service. To handle large data volumes and ensure successful refreshes, you can consider a few approaches.
First, optimize your data model by removing unnecessary columns, reducing cardinality, and using proper data types. Second, consider switching from Import mode to DirectQuery or a hybrid model using Composite Models, which can help keep the dataset within limits by querying the source directly.
Alternatively, you can partition your data using parameters or incremental refresh (if your data source supports it), though incremental refresh is only available with a Premium or PPU (Premium Per User) license. If upgrading to Premium is an option, it would give you a much higher storage limit and additional features to handle large datasets efficiently.
