Data colors change when data updated

Hi Power Bi Community,

I have a Choropleth map in which I give the different categories different colors. The categories are calculated with a measure, over the last 7 days. If it goes to a higher categorie it gets a darker color. But when the data is updated, the colors change, in that way that a lower categorie gets a darker color and the other way around.

Does anybody knows why  this is happening and how I can solve this?

If you look at the messages in this forum and elsewhere  you will find that this is a long running issue (since at least 2018).  One "workaround"  is to "touch"  your dataset in the service (do a small edit) and republish.  But this really needs to be solved decisively. If you have a Pro license please raise a support ticket. The more of us do that the faster Microsoft will be convinced to actually fix it.
