Data bricks connectivity from Power BI service.

Hello All,

I have connected to a Databricks SQL warehouse from Power BI desktop through access token and I am able to fetch the data and build the report. When I publish the report into Power BI service and try accessing the visuals I get the error message as below.

Couldn't load the data for this visual

[Microsoft][ThriftExtension] (14) Unexpected response from server during a HTTP connection: Unauthorized/Forbidden error response returned, but no token expired message received.. The exception was raised by the IDbCommand interface.

Please try again later or contact support. If you contact support, please provide these details.

I have gone to the settings of the dataset and have entered the access token in service too. Also, when I try to refresh the dataset and go to the refresh history it shows completed as below.

So, to summarize, I am able to access the dataset from Power BI desktop but not able to access the dataset from service using the same token. Any pointer on how to go about fixing this would be of a great help!

Thank you!

Hi @shivakumardr1 ,

Based on the error description, try to review the token whether has expired.

Besides, try to check the dataset credentials.
