Hi team i need your help.
I created an sql connection (import mode) and a personal gateway for scheduled refresh. Even i scheduled data refresh, I noticed that my team members (just users - premium capacity) are not able to refresh the final dashboard ( any solution on that?)
So i decided to read a lot of posts and i changed it all as i wanted to use the auto page refresher
- I changed all tables from import mode to direct queries
- I created store procedure in sql for all tables
- I updated all the connections between tables ( i hate that "related" dax function is not working between direct query and a simple manual imported table - Its an issue for 4 years @PowerBI please solve this !!!!)
- But unfortunately i noticed that direct query ( requisite for scheduled page refresher) is not working with my personal gateway (requisite for scheduled data refresher) !
So now i need you to advice me. The data is confidential so even we have premium capacity we prefer to use a personal gateway rather than giving access to the powerbi main account.
I want my team to be able to refresh the dashboard ( feeding form an sql DB) . I have already a power automate licence but i am only able to set up a data refresher and not a dashboard/page refresher. I have to update data and dashboard every 30 min.
Any detailed solution please?.
