Hi - apologies if this is a redundant post, but didn't find any posts that explicitly noted all refresh requirements were met with a data alert and still no alert was being triggered.
My alert is based on a tile and is just set to trigger if the value is >0, which it always is, because it is based on today's date (but it is a number format).
After refreshing this morning, the current value is 11.
I've read that these conditions must be true to trigger the alert:
1. Value meets the conditions set by user (> or < x value) (in my case, 11 > 0)
2. Dataset refreshed (refreshed successfully this morning at 9:40 am USMT)
3. Last trigger was >1 hr or >24 hrs ago (depending how user set it up) (last refresh was 24 hours ago, and alert did trigger)
4. The value after dataset refresh is different than value before dataset refresh (previous value was 10)
All 4 conditions are met in my case. More often than not, the alert triggers. But sometimes it doesn't, even if all 4 conditions are met. What am I missing?

You might need to contact Microsoft Support. I cannot think of a reason why it would not trigger. There is nothing else you can configure to change that would be incorrectly set. The support link is at the bottom of this page - Support | Microsoft Power BI

MCSA: BI ReportingIs the value always different after each refresh? An alert will not trigger if the value is the same as the last time, so I'm wondering if once in a while it is the same value and thus no alert.

MCSA: BI ReportingHi - yes, the number is different every time the dataset refreshes.

MCSA: BI ReportingJust to close this out - I did log a support ticket with Microsoft and they made some updates to the data-driven alerts that seemed to do the trick. Since then, my alerts have been consistently triggering.
