Data Updated in Dashboard

I sent a dashboard to my manager.  The Dashboard is using a dataset with Azure SQL data direct query.

He wants to have the most updated data every he opens the dashboard.  He doesn't want to click the 'refresh' button.  He also doesn't like the 15 minutes delay.

Can we set that the Dashboard to grad the most update data when it is opened?

Simmy Your only option would be to custom build a "push dataset" which would update visuals on a dashboard automatically, but not necessarily the reports.

It is not very often that someone needs real time info... but in those cases that you do, you'll need to use the Power BI Developer tools to do it.

    Hi Simmy,

Could you please mark the proper answer as solution or share the solution if it's convenient for you? That will be a big help to the others.
