Hi,
I'm using a custom PowerBI connector provided by our server provider to link data into our reports. This connector is using an On-Premise Data Gateway to connect to the connect to Power BI
Once published were setting up a scheduled refresh on the reports to update the data a number of times a day.
We're currently having an issue where after a few days of refreshing we get the following error message come through:
Refresh failed:
Failure details: The last refresh attempt failed because of an internal service error. This is usually a transient issue. If you try again later and still see this message, contact support.
To get the data to start refreshing we have to go into the data connector settings and re enter the credentials in the authentication panel.
Have checked in with the provider of the custom connector and they said this periodic reauthentication is part of their security setups and there's no work arounds that they have in place for it at the moment, so hoping someone knows of something that can be done on the PowerBI/Azure side of things to help minimise the frequency of this.
Thanks
Did you ever solve this?
