Hi,
I have built a Power BI Desktop Data model using Excel files stored in my local machine (Not sharepoint or onedrive). The data in excel is updated once every day.
Ideally, I would want to publish the report to Power BI Service and schedule a data refresh (From the local excel files).
Is there a reccomended way I can achieve this?
I apprecieate the help.
Thanks!

hi, @Anonymous
It is a simple way, You need to install a gateway, then set up the gateway for the dataset
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/service-gateway-getting-started
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/service-gateway-install
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/service-gateway-manage
Now configuring scheduled refresh for it.

Best Regards,
