Data Refresh Error on service but not on Desktop : The import Splitter.SplitTextByCharacterTransitio

i am getting the below error :

I think it is because i am converting a "location Number" to text in powerquery to remove leading zeros then converting it back to a string to concatenate it with another string.  

Any help with this is much appreciatied i have a 24 deadline on this

How do i update my gateway?

Hi there

Can you ensure that you have got the latest version of the On-Premise Gateway installed.

The reason being is that the latest version has got all the Power Query Engine updates and this appears to be a new function which will not exist in the older Gateway version.
