Data Recovery from the Service

Hi,

 

I'm importing a large amount of data(1 millions of rows) from the Microsoft Excel workbook and setting up incremental refresh and then publish it to the service. Once the project has been published, performing the incremental refresh.

 

Deleted the existing rows from the work book and add another(1 millions of rows) in the excel work book again and performing the incremental refresh based on my incremental configuration it stores the existing 1 million rows and newly added 1 million rows. 

 

My requirement is deleting and adding the rows from the workbook, and the service contains 5 million of records.

 

If anything goes wrong in the service and lost 3 millions of rows how can I reterive the data from the service?

 

Any advice please?

Hi @srinikg 

 

Unfortunately you will not be able to download the data from the service as far as I am aware.


You need to make sure that you always have got a copy of your source data locally. This is always recommended practice to have a copy/backup of your own data.
