Data Model with Jira?
- 6 years agoWell, if you are importing the data into Power BI Desktop, then it is stored in an Analysis Services Tabular cube.

Well, the way this works is that data is persisted in an analysis services tabular cube. During analysis, this cube is loaded into memory and then analytical operations are run against the in-memory instance of the cube in order to make operations faster. http://nisalbi.blogspot.com/2017/11/vertipaq-engine-in-ssas-tabular-databse.html

One more question. So in this case there is no IN-Memory Data storage? But it is still a Self-Service BI Tool or am I wrong?
