Data Model connection with Azure in different environment
Hi,
right now we are shifting towards a new tenant environment for the PowerBI user, so that users can use their MS Login credentials to access PowerBI. To reduce the workload we decided to keep the Azure services in the old tenant (different login than MS Login ). We were hoping that if we download the existing PBI reports from the old environement and upload it again to the new one, using the new credentials, reports can be easily transmitted and used again without rebuilding it.
The upload works, but when I open the report I get the error message Data Model could not be loaded, beause Model Scheme could not be found. I used the old credentials for the Data Source in the Dataset settings, but this did not help. Has anyone experienced something similar or has an idea if and how this could be solved?
Thanks and Best Regards

Hi, Anonymous
Have you checked that the credential in you powerbi desktop is the same as the credentials for the Data Source in the Dataset settings?
