Data Flows. One table or your entire model

I have a quick question

When creating data flows. Im not sure whether its best you add all your tables to one data flow or have a data flow for one table so in Power BI you would connect to multiple data flows.

What the best practice on this?

  • hi DebbieE

You'd better choose it by data refresh requirement, you could put all the tables that need same refresh rate in to one data flow.

This will be easy to manage and use.

  • @eurenergy,

    1. Navigate to the data flow: In your workspace, click on the desired data flow.
    2. Click the "Add Tables" button: Look for the "Add Tables" button situated in the top right corner of the data flow interface.
See the attached image for reference.
