Data/Drill through option - enable by default in powerbi service?

Hi all,

I have created a report and enabled the "Data/Drill through" option (it is much more intuitive to be able to click on a table and it pops up with the drill through option, rather than right clicking, wading through the options to find the drill/through).  When I publish to the service, this option isn't enabled.  Is there a workaround?

Cheers,

Ben.

If you want a smoother experience in the Service, the usual alternatives are:

  1. Dedicated drill-through buttons
Create a button that navigates to the drill-through page and passes context (this is the most common approach).

  2. Clickable visuals / navigation buttons
Use buttons or images with page navigation instead of relying on drill-through UX.

  3. Report page tooltips (when drill-through is mainly for detail inspection)
