Data Credentials in PowerBI Service - The credentials provided for the SQL source are invalid
Hi all, I've seen this be a problem for several over the years but I can't seem to find a 'proper' solution. I have a pbip file that is pulling data from a Synapse DB as the only data source...

Yep tried all of the above and on the gateways and connections page get the following;
I even ran a test with a brand new semantic model using the same Syanpse DB and bringing down one table and it is doing the same for me

That means your crediantial is not correct. You need to use correct crediantial.
