Helper IData Centers | PPU License
Current: Power BI Premum Per User License with data stored in North Central US (Illinois)
Desired: Power BI Premum Per User License with data stored in Northern Switzerland
Context: I know Multi-Geo is availabe for Premium Capacity (https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/admin/service-admin-premium-multi-geo#change-the-region-for-existing-content), but not for Premium Per User.
Questions: .
1. Can I request a complete migration without cancelling the eixisting subscription?
2. Must I cancel the existing and resubscribe?
3. If I do #2, is it assured that I can select the data center as noted above if I re-subscribe?

if you want to move locations you will need to backup everything that you have and make notes of things like dashboards (which you would have to re-create)
Then request to have it moved and then re-create everything in the new data location.Unfortunately as far as I know there is no other way to achieve this.

I'm not concerned about having to republish/reconstruct dashboards. What I need to have clarity around is how to initiate such a migration to a new data center and who is the accountable party within Azure/Power BI Service. Thanks for responding.
