Hello, I've been doing some testing with the Data Activator alert option and I was able to create alerts where sales went over a threshold. However, I am being asked for a couple other scenarios and have not been able to determine how to set them up.
One, we have potential accounts (leads) that our sales team is trying to open and I have a report that is counting how many are opened each week. I would like to create a weekly alert that is generated whenever the opened accounts is zero. I would want this alert to be sent on Monday. Is this possible with the current options or do I need to create a workflow?
The other scenario is to create an alert whenever the sales amount from these opened accounts goes up (week-over-week) by a certain amount. I've created an alert for when sales hits a threshold, but, to me, that is just a one-time alert and was hoping to create an alert that would send a notification each week.
Thanks
Hi @jhenscheid1 ,
Data activator comes with limited features, but you can build a flow with power automate using recurrence, run a query against a dataset ,send email notifications.
Thanks,
Sai Teja
Thank you for the reply. Assuming this is mentioned in an article or blog, do you have the link to it? And is there a timeline for closing this gap?
Thanks,
Jeff
I think it is mentioned in the thread where they ask for feedback on data activator features.
That's a known gap and Will Thompson mentioned that they are working on the "reporting of stuff not happening" part.
