Dashboard tiles do not update
Publishing a PBIX report with an existing name (replace with newer version of same report) does not automatically refresh the pinned tiles in the related dashboard. The tiles continue to show the info from the older version of the report. Please advise.

I believe you have to re-pin the visuals. It might be a report with the same name but it isn't going to be the same link. I have, at times, unintentionally had multiple reports with the same name. Unfortunately, to BI having the same name does not mean it is the same report.
I have an imported dataset connect to sql database using enterprise gateway. Reports are udated by scheduled refresh but not the tiles. They continue to show old data.
Any thoughts on how to overcome this flaw? Miscrosoft's offcial solution is to repin tiles if they are not updated within 15-20 minutes. But this is not an acceptable solution.
In the past, when this happened to me, it was in the filters that the reports had in place. When the data updated, the filters maintained the previously set level causing my tiles to not refresh. I have since moved to pinning live pages instead of tiles on filtered reports.
Are your filters interfering with your tiles?
