Dashboard responsiveness
Hi. We have power bi desktop dashboard and mobile view is setup. But it doesnt appear to be mobile-firendly when a mobile user opens the dashboard from its browser. It seems responsiveness is working only on mobile apps but not in mobile browsers. How can I setup my dashboard to be mobile responsive even in mobile browsers, because the most users of my dashboard use mobile browsers to watch the dashboard rather than the mobile app.

Power BI mobile layouts are designed primarily for the Power BI mobile app, and responsiveness on mobile browsers might not be ideal by default.
Still you can try these:Test and Refine in Mobile Layout View:
- Within Power BI Desktop, utilize the "Mobile layout" view to test and refine your dashboard specifically for mobile browsers. This view simulates the limitations of screen size and interaction on mobile devices.
- Adjust the layout by resizing visuals, hiding unnecessary elements, and rearranging components to ensure clarity and ease of navigation on smaller screens.
Prioritize Key Information:
- Focus on displaying the most critical information on the mobile view. Avoid cluttering the screen with too many visuals or overwhelming users with details.
- Consider using a single-focused mobile layout that highlights the most important metrics, with options to drill down for further details on a desktop browser or the Power BI app.
Optimize Visual Size and Interaction:
- Ensure visuals are sized appropriately for mobile screens. Text should be large and readable, and charts should be clear and easy to interpret.
- Test how users interact with visuals on a mobile browser. If necessary, adjust touch targets for buttons and slicers to prevent accidental clicks.
Utilize Bookmarks (Optional):
- Bookmarks allow you to capture specific states of your report (filtered views, highlighted visuals).
- Create mobile-specific bookmarks that showcase key insights, providing a focused experience for mobile browser users.

As you may have observed, the Mobile Optimization view is primarily designed for the Power BI mobile app on iOS and Android and is not automatically applied when viewing dashboards in a mobile browser.
This is because the Power BI service does not currently provide support for mobile browsers.
So consider downloading and using the Power BI mobile app for iOS or Android.
