Dashboard on Power BI desktop does not show refreshed data

Hi, I created dashboard in Power BI Desktop. It takes data from company Sharepoint. When I change the data (adding additional files to Shareopint or changing existing data files), Power BI Desktop is able to recognize and apply correctly all changes. I, however, published the report to My Workspace. Everything seems to be working fine, but when I try to refresh data from the button next to semantic model, this is not working. Well, data refresh works, there's no error message or so, date in the column "Refreshed" changes, but the dashboard is not being updated. This is for both, data updates and visualization updates (changes in data and changes in charts). The only way to get information most up to date is to republish the report, but this won't allow me to set up frequent automations of data refresh. I checked the forum and found similar issues, but with other data sources or refresh issues on Power BI Desktop. While for me, in Desktop everything works as expected. Am I missing any obvious step? I've done different automated refreshes in the past and never encounrtered similar issue. Thanks!

Please check to see if it is working on your desktop before refreshing the Power Bi service.

it works, I mentioned that. Everything works as expected in desktop

What about the data connection in the bi service? Is it cloud-based or on-promise? Have you verified your credentials?

Hi, thanks for your message. I wen tot connections and it looks like this:

I went to edit creditntials and reselect my windows account which connected with no issues.

I then test it via button refresh and, on the dashboard I have data refresh tile - it shows current date and time, but i changes something in data source and this has not been reflected on the dashboard.

Do you see an error in the service after trigger the refresh in the service on that model?

No error messages appear after refresh. I can see in "Monitor" tab in Power Bi Online that the refresh was succesfull, which cleary did not happen at all (I have just removed half of my dummy data, but the report still shows previous numbers). Not sure if there's any other place I could possibly check this?

Look at Seth's responce at the end of this related issue:
Updating Dashboard Visuals Upon Report Visual Upda... - Microsoft Fabric Community

Hi, I've seen this before, but I don't think that gives me any solution. On my published report nothing is being updated/refreshed - changes in visualizations but also changes in data.

E.g. some charts are taking data from the Sharepoint folder, so when the new file appear in the folder, Power Bi can take it to the report. When I refresh data on Power BI Desktop, everything is being updated based on most up to date file, but when I try refresh on Power BI online, nothing happens, so no new data is being taken, even if Power BI desktop has been refreshed.
