Dashboard not scaling on smaller monitor

HI
I have a dashboard with multiple pinned visuals from other reports on the same row and max horizontal area of dashboard.

When I view the dashboard on a 1920 x 1080 desktop screen there are no scroll bars but on a 1680 x 1080 screen I get horizontal scoll bars, in full screen mode right hand visual is "cut-off" this doesn't happen with a PowerBI report.

Is there any solution or workaround?

Thanks.

Hi @Anonymous

The default view fit to page works perfectly for a PowerBI report.

Can Microsoft make it work in the same way for a Dashboard?

I think the answer is no and the only option is to suggest feature improvement.

Hi @healthman ,

It‘s by design

If you would like to suggest  feature improvements, you may  vote the idea and comment here  to improve this feature. It is a place for customers provide feedback about Microsoft Office products . What’s more, if a feedback is high voted there by other customers, it will be promising that Microsoft Product Team will take it into consideration when designing the next version in the future.

Hi @Anonymous ,

that is not really a viable solution because making the page full screen removes other functionality which is required. Why can't a Dasboard resize in the same way a PowerBI report resizes?

Hi @healthman ,

The default display view is Fit to page and the default display size is 16:9. If you want to lock in a different aspect ratio, or want to fit your report in a different way, you may change the layout like below:

Choose Fit to screen.
