Dashboard level security in Premium workspace

Hi Everyone we have premiuam workspace and we want to give dashboard level access to users which means if my workspace has 10 dashboards then few users would have access on all dashboards where as few users would have acess on 5 dashboards only, can we do that without giving access of entire workspace we give only dashboard level access ?

Can we give dashboard level access to DL or AD group rather then giving the same to individual users so that in future if any user is added in DL or Ad group he or she gets access automatically ?

What is the business need for wanting different access to the same Workspace? I would recommend trying to keep it simple, and think of your workspaces as teams, so access should be for all dashboards in that space or nothing.

You can and SHOULD add AD groups rather than individuals to the workspace permissions for easier management.

Hi Allison,

thanks for your reply, i know workspace level access can be given to AD group but if my workspace has 20 dashboards and if i have 3 group of users 1st group of users can access all dashbaords, 2nd group of users would have acess on 10 dashboards and 3rd group of users would have access on 05 dashboards, how will be manage the same ?

Power bi service does not support Dashboard or Report level security. For your requirement, I would recommend you to copy the the selected reports into 3 workspace and pin dashboard tiles separately. If you have premium licence, you could use new launched deployment pipelines to transfer content between workspaces.
