Dashboard in Import Mode not refreshing automatically
I have a dashboard created from a dataset in Import Mode. The dataset gets refreshed once a day. We have a screen that displays this dashboard running 24/7.
I noticed that the dashboard does not get refreshed after the dataset has been refreshed. I had to manually "Refresh Visuals" on the top right of the dashboard.
Is there any reason why the dashboard would not refresh? My understanding is that it should refresh with every dataset refresh. Testing with Chrome browser.

Yes you are correct that it should refresh after the dataset refresh.
When you have the screen open does the screen reload the URL or just sit there?
I would suggest putting in a way to refresh the URL which will then reload the page, which should then update the dashboard.
There are chrome plugins that can do this. Hi GilbertQ ,
Thanks for your reply. It seems to just sit there. I also did a couple of tests between manual refresh vs scheduled refresh. The manual update refreshed the dashboard, but scheduled refresh did not.

Hmm that is not normal I would expect the scheduled refresh to update it
What happens if you do the scheduled refresh and then reload the URL?

When URL is reloaded the dashboard will show the up to date data. Same if I access the dashboard with another browser/PC after the data has been refreshed.
The issue is only if browser does not get refreshed.
Some articles have mentioned that the visuals get updated every 15 minutes. Is this information still accurate? I have waited 15 minutes just to see if the refresh happens - no luck.

Could it be a browser caching issue?
Or if this PC sits behind a proxy server?
