Hello,
I am using PowerBI for reporting a while now. While I have my Direct Query dataset to be scheduled refresh every 15 minutes and source report it gets auto refresh, the dashboard doesnt get auto refresh, even I do chrome refresh. The only way to gets refresh it if i press the refresh button in the dashboard, but i dont want that.
I want to be able to full screen the dashboard and data automatically refreshed. I think in that past this was working, i dont know why report doesnt auto refresh while data set and report have auto refresh on.
I spend a lot of time in searching but i didnt find any solution. Can anyone help on this?
Hi, I am having this same issue with a Direct Query data source. I have to manually refresh the dashboard in order to see the updated data that is coming through via the Page Refresh on the report. I am not seeing an "Auto Refresh" option anywhere as an option on the dashboard.
4. Check your Direct Query connection: Make sure that the connection is set up correctly and that the data source is accessible. You may also want to check the query performance to ensure that it is not causing any delays in refreshing the dashboard.
As I said refresh works when I press refresh button in the dashboard. But it doesn't auto refresh the dashboard when dashboard getting refreshed.
3. Check your data source: Make sure that your data source is set to refresh on a regular basis. In the Power BI service, go to your data source and click "Settings" to check the refresh schedule.
2. Check your browser settings: Some browsers may have settings that prevent auto-refreshing of pages. Check your browser settings to make sure that auto-refresh is allowed. You may also want to try using a different browser to see if that resolves the issue.
Hello @StratosM - There are a few things you can try to troubleshoot the issue with your dashboard not auto-refreshing:
1. Check your dashboard settings: Make sure that your dashboard is set to auto-refresh. In the Power BI service, go to your dashboard and click the ellipsis (...) in the top right corner. Select "Settings" and make sure the "Auto Refresh" option is turned on.
