Dashboard Refreshing so Slowly

Hello,

My dashboard/data seems to be getting stuck more and more lately. The first refresh on the web takes a very long time, if it loads at all. I will sometimes hit the refresh arrow and it won't even try to refresh. Other times it will kick off but load slowly. What i usually do then is open the desktop app and refresh/publish there...that works then. Any suggestions?

    Hi ethanlsaul ,

I cannot reproduced the issue, maybe the reports I have are simple.

Do you always use the same dashboard twice? Do they have any new changes in content?
Slow refresh can be caused by many reasons, the report itself or the surrounding environment, the analytics engine can have an impact on it.
Have you tried using automatic page refresh?

    Hi ethanlsaul ,

To make dashboard tiles refresh, we need to have the dataset refreshed firstly. You can set schedule refresh for the dataset or manually refresh, see: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/refresh-scheduled-refresh

After the dataset is refreshed, the dashboard tiles will be refreshed within 15 minutes. You can also force tile refresh by selecting Refresh dashboard tiles. See: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/refresh-data#types-of-refresh
